Standard Curriculum
We offer six levels**
of ongoing instruction in our Standard Curriculum, three
levels of Beginner, two Intermediate and one Advanced:
- Beginner I
– You are a beginner if you have little or no language
experience, but are willing to dive in head first
- Beginner II
– You are an Advanced Beginner if you have finished
Beginner I or have studied Italian in the past, but need
a refresher to bring you back in the fold
- Beginner III
– A lot of vocabulary and a good deal of structure
to make you feel more confidant. You are headed now toward
the next level.
- Intermediate I
– You belong here if you understand the basics of
grammar and can have a conversation in present, future
and simple past and read a paragraph with understanding.
- Intermediate II
– Now you are really cooking! You can read,
write and speak with greater fluency and want to know
more.
- Advanced
– You made it!!
Now you are refining your knowledge, ever conscious that
there is always something new to learn and stressing the
culture as you converse, write and read in Italian.
